Key responsibilities (HR truck drivers)
- Safely operate and drive company trucks to deliver mulch, rocks, soils, and other bulk materials to customer sites
- Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues
- Ensure loads are secured correctly and comply with relevant safety and road transport regulations
- Provide friendly and professional service to customers upon delivery
- Maintain accurate delivery records, including dockets, timesheets, and load documentation
- Assist with yard duties, loading, and general trade support between deliveries
